BioMARatona 2026 Engages Citizens at European Researchers' Night
For the second consecutive year, BioMARatona participated in the European Researchers' Night, held at the Institute for Research and Innovation in Health (i3S) in Porto, Portugal. The event provided an opportunity to introduce visitors to citizen science and demonstrate how everyone can contribute to biodiversity monitoring.
At the BioMARatona stand, visitors learned more about the initiative and how they can actively support scientific research by recording and sharing biodiversity observations. The event highlighted the important role of public participation in collecting valuable data and improving our understanding of biodiversity.
Organised with the involvement of BIOPOLIS-CIBIO, BioMARatona 2026 continues to encourage citizens to explore nature, document species and contribute to biodiversity research.
