The European Maritime Day (EMD) 2025, held from May 21 to 23 in Cork, Ireland, brought together Europe’s maritime community for three days of discussion, innovation, and collaboration on the future of the ocean and the sustainable blue economy.
Organised by the European Commission, EMD 2025 featured a packed agenda of keynote speeches, thematic panels, and workshops, attracting stakeholders from across the maritime spectrum - including businesses, policymakers, NGOs, researchers, and engaged citizens.
ANERIS participated with and engaging and interactive stand, which drew the attention of the attendees. Designed to immerse the viewers in the wonders of the underwater world, the ANERIS exhibit showcased beautiful sea visualisations and banners illustrating the project’s mission and achievements.
